A couple nights ago, i dreamt that Fatty the hamster grew so fat that she was three times her current size. And when i held her in one hand, her fat hung out over the sides of my palm. Funnily enough, in the dream it felt perfectly normal. Oh well. I hope she doesn't keel over from heart disease. When they do finally pass on, i hope they go happy hamsters.

I love this toy!
Jed gets separation anxiety whenever his mommies go out and leave him all alone at home; he'll howl and whimper like a wounded thing. We tried leaving the radio on so it sounded like someone was home, but it didn't work and just added to the ruckus. But this wonderful tennis ball did the trick. We chuck a few doggie biscuits into one of these babies, fling it at Jed, and walk out the door. No noise from the little rascal, and by the time he finishes getting the treats out, he'd have forgotten that we were leaving.

I was chatting with one of the security guards today, and he said that when he retires, he'll move to m'sia and build a house near his cousin. He said although he has the money, he won't be flashing it around by buying a big tv, but security still must be tight, so he'll install 2 spotlights on his premises -- one in front, one in the back. I was just about to ask what he was going to do in lieu of the guard dogs (muslim mah), when he said he'd raise a flock of geese. Why geese? Apparently, geese will holler loud enough to raise the dead even if a frog jumped across their paths. Cool, eh? Although I do foresee sleepless nights in his future.
