More hardware woes
So while I had my computer out open and dissassembled(see this post) I decide to see if I could clean my power supply fan, It had been acting up so I figured it might be cloged with dust.
It being out of warrenty I opened up the power supply (so I was also curious as to what was inside), cleaned the fall off, and decided to take a look at the acual device.
About a minute later I decided I was getting a new PS. It was the large scorced area and corisponding exploded component that decided me.
So i trucked down to Canada Computers to pick up a new one, actualy quite nice one
Now my old PS was/is working fine, but I didn't want to take chances, so now I'm the proud owner of a slightly dubious 400W Socket A PS.
Though on the plus side the new one is quieter.
