It's Charrrr-terrrr.

So I went back to visit sexy hunk of not-up-to-code brick to see what was up. And boy, how things...really didn't change much.

The first thing I noticed walking in was that ALL of the ceiling tiles were gone. Frankly, I thought they all just fell down. But no, it was on purpose. Apparently, they're in the process of putting in air conditioning for the whole building. So naturally, they choose to do it after we graduate.

Thanks, Charter. Thanks a lot.

I first went to the office to get some free candy. Ran into Ms. Towers/Hollstein and said hi to her (nice to see her again). I admit, I felt slightly guilty that I was interrupting classes. And then Doc Fleetwood just smiled, asked me how I was, and I walked right into his and Ms. Towers/Hollstein's Creative & Critical Thinking class. Got a hug from Ms. Melendez (it was good seeing her again), then a big squeal and a hug from Erica and Gabby and Emily Guillen, who were all in that class that I crashed. Roamed the hall a bit (popped in to say hi to Munson), then decided to return to homeroom and say hi to Mrs. Benzing.

So naturally I run into Abby, Dylan, and Tucker.

Went to bug Mr. Mervine a bit, then Rice & Loundsberry, and went trolling a little more down the hallways and ran into Radley and Ethan looking around. Went to bug Satalino, but to no avail. The man who gave us all lower GI distress over his pop quizzes is now in the hospital for lower GI distress himself getting surgery. Over Thanksgiving, no less. I hope all goes well.

Thankfully, the world's coolest perma-sub was filling in. Got a big hug from Mrs. Briz, then went off to look around some more. Waved into Mrs. Cote's class, but being Mrs. Cote, she gave the kids a complicated lesson the day before break, so I didn't get to talk to her.

After that it was off to downstairs. Went to see Ms. Lober (cute haircut) and crash her US History class (which she thought was odd. I figured I've already taken 2 of her classes, what's another one?). I wanted to see the new Mrs. Messenger, but Ms. Trainer was MIA - apparently, I just missed her. Chatted with Ethan & Tucker & Mr. Stella for a bit about food and good restaurants and how cold my college is (duh).

Then I had to freaking SPEED to my doctor's appointment, because naturally, I took the wrong route to get there. I made it just in time, but of course they made me wait 45 minutes. Got there, waited another 20 in the room (Dear God, thank you for creating TIME Magazine. Love, Alex), then had a 10 minute meeting and left.

More Project Runway catch-up, then off to see August Rush. Will post the review later.

charrrr-terrrrr, the crew, de-la-war
