Wish us Luck!

Hey all. So just to fill you in on what I'm up to.
I've been writing like mad (papers, this week it'll be for The Ithacan) and freezing my ass off in the cold. It snowed the other day! It didn't stick, but still be jealous, it was pretty flurries.
Anwyay.
The picture at left is the seal of the School of the Americas (now
called the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation). I'll let Wikipedia explain.

Now that you know what it's about, you know what I'm protesting against. I'm going to the School of the Americas Watch Protest in Fort Benning, Georgia (Hi, Dylan!) from the 21st to the 23rd (from there, I'm coming home to DE for about a week). I don't mean to incite riots about what you believe in and what you don't, or how you feel about WHISC/SOA, I am going for the experience and solidarity with other groups going (my Political Violence and Human Rights in Latin America class and the IC Catholic Community are both going), but that's where I'll be from the 21st and the 23rd. Expect to see some pictures and/or my future Ithacan article posted up here about the whole trip.
Other than that, I'll be back from the 25th to the 30th to hang out (be warned, if you want to hang out on Black Friday, I'm game, but I will be exhausted because I'm on to work 6 AM - noon. I'll be home on the 24th, but I have a bunch of doctor's appointments, and my eyes will be diulated from the eye doctor, so driving is kind of out).
Thoughts? Suggestions? Hope to see you all soon.

it-uh-cuh, de-la-war, see the world
