Hey Lee? Always Turn RIGHT

So last night was one of the more enjoyable Fridays I've had lately. The weekend before that was okay, I just wish the tequila and rum buzz had stayed long enough to make Pancho Villa a little more enjoyable, and I wish there had been more cute boys there. I think that cab driver's still pissed that I took his daisy from the dashboard to put in my hair...
Anyway, moving on to this weekend.
So between classes yesterday (and the crippling realization that I have papers and midterms galore on Monday and Tuesday, that's what I get for taking 6 classes), I talk to Anne and Monica and Lizzy, and they tell me "Oh, we're having a picnic lunch with Caroline." I didn't know who the hell Caroline was, until I realized it was graduated ICCC Caroline Keras, which made me happy to NO END (I missed her, I felt like I was closest to her out of the seniors last year. I think it's because of the very personal talk at the lock-in). Turns out she's visiting for the weekend (!!!) and was eating lunch with us out on the quad. Which was awesome. The five of us were talking about families and marriage and all girly stuff eating grab n' go on towels on the quad on one of the few nice days in Ithaca lately (it's been rainy and cold, typical October for us). Then off to class, and after class it was off to the corn maze at Iron Kettle Farms. The way there was fun, I rode with Caroline and Heather (who I hadn't seen in AGES and missed) and sang loudly to power ballads with the windows down.
The maze itself was lame. The crew was great, the maze was easy.
Literally, we bought our tickets and Me, Maggie, Kiersten, Lizzy, Caroline, Heather, and a cutie whose name I can't remember (dark hair, glasses, mmmmm...) found our way through the maze in about...20 minutes? Kind of a waste. We brought our A-game expecting something really difficult, and it turns out that the maze was under our expectations.
As we complained about the inherent suckage of the maize labyrinth over hot apple cider, we decided to buy drinks at Weg's and then go over to Chili's for a girls' night dinner. It was actually really fun. Then a movie night for one (me) and then sleep.
Kristyne & Anne are making fake blood in the kitchen right now for their Blood & Gorges film festival entry, and watching them trying to figure out serving sizes is pretty amusing. The blood, by the way, is made from corn starch and cocoa powder and food coloring, and is delish.

it-uh-cuh, the crew
