- Have finished two Americorps terms, opted out of a third term due to lack of education award incentive.
- Have been denied position with JET. I will have to find another way to terrorize Asians with my height and curly hair.
- Currently working as a forms developer for MLSA. I have not received any training and am learning to do it all on my own. I'm getting paid more than I feel comfortable with for the work, but I haven't had the gumption to work much more than 3 hours a days so I guess it evens out.
- Taking basic Japanese at the library. Was doing this to impress JET people in the interview, but I think I'll stick with it just because learning is fun. Also, I really need reasons to get out of my apartment.
- Have just received a message from Ryan THIS VERY MOMENT that I should apply at Interac (private English education company) and teach English in Japan through them. That way I could live in the same town as him and get drunk and play Street Fighter. That man has solutions!
- I have no friends I regularly see in Helena. I do have three infrequent friends. One I think I scared away by getting black out drunk at her work party and puking her out of the room we were sharing. I blame the open bar. The others I see semi-regularly, but consciously try not to run into too often so our visits don't get stale.
- I have a token for one free taco from Taco John's glued to my forehead. Earlier, I looked up from my desk and saw some leftover spirit gum from Halloween. I thought, "Hey, I better glue something to my forehead!" I am good for one free taco.
