nadiamdq made me remember I am a fangirl first and foremost.
Took me a while to find the photos but here are the to 15 male celebrities that I would so definitely hit.
1. Simon Le Bon. He was my first. <3 I was 12 when I became a fangirl and Simon was the object of my squeeing. Silently in my own mind of course. He has aged gracefully and I admire him more now as a person and a father and husband esp after having raised lovely daughters and sticking in a marriage that's still going strong.
2. John Taylor. Where there is a front man, there is a guy who caresses the bass guitar like it was a woman. Okay, that's cheesy but you know what I mean. Nigel was the epitome of style back in the scary 80s. And he is still as handsome as he has ever been.
3. Shane Filan. Music is always present in my life so it's not surprising that Shane is in this list. Oh, those were the days, eh, Nady? Btw, I could wring your neck for this. Did you know how long it took me to decide which photo of Shane to choose for this? It was agonizing I tell ya! Anyway, Shane is one of those on this list whom I actually met, shook hands with and spoke to, very briefly though.
4. Kian Egan. And his cursedly beautiful hands. Hands which I almost didn't want to let go of when I touched it for real. *sigh*
5. Orlando Bloom. Probably one of my longest lasting celebrity crush. Wallpapers, icons and the odd fanfic all came out of this wonderful obsession. Not to mention friendships that still stay true to this day.
6. Rob Thomas. Another front man. Eyeliner on a man? Hell yeah! The genius of his music is only the start. He also looks the part and is a very devoted husband to dear Marisol. He's going to be on this list for a very very long time.
7. Keanu Reeves. No thanks to Matrix. Well maybe a bit but I have followed Keanu from his Point Break days. Critics don't like his acting but I don't mind. His roles are not mainstream. Oh and did you know he plays bass guitar too?
8. Matt Damon. He's got the looks and he's quite a bright young man too. Very versatile actor who's done action, drama, comedy and probably could also sing and dance quite well.
9. David Boreanaz. Ah, my Angel! Sure he's had weight problems. Who hasn't? He is fit as ever and his TV shows are all a hit. I would love to see him in a comedy though. Not that I want to forget him as tall, dark and forehead!
10. Matthew Fox. I'd love to see him with a full head of hair sometime. Shouldn't be long as Lost is on it's final season. He gives you this air of being unassuming, quiet but deadly handsome without effort.
11. David Tennant. My Doctor. But not the medical kind. Oh the cuteness, the glasses, the accent, the skinny suit, the Chucks. And of course the TARDIS and the sonic screwdriver all make him what he is. The best Timelord this galaxy has ever seen.
12. Jensen Ackles. I had a tough time choosing just Jensen here. I wanted to make it a 3-in-1 with Jared Padalecki and Jeffrey Dean Morgan because the Winchester Boys do it for me in near-equal measures. But I have to admit, Jensen is my favourite. Long lashes like those on a man should be a crime. *sigh*
13. Joe Flanigan. It's sad to see Stargate Atlantis go but I admit I would love to see Joe in another role. He was great in Thoughtcrimes as an NSA agent and it seems that being a man in uniform is his best role yet as he appeared as an FBI agent in Women's Murder Club and a beaten-down detective in an alternate reality episode of Stargate Atlantis.
14. Wentworth Miller. Gay or not, he is hot. Another actor who we will shortly see with a full head of hair as Prison Break wraps up this season. He will most likely be known as Michael Scofield for a very long time but I just know he is capable of more. If only he would speak up sometimes!
15. Zachary Levi. My latest celeb crush. Plays a geeky nerd who is as cute as a button. He can come repair my computer any time! Beneath the funny exterior he seems capable of so much more depth. Plus that smile can warm up even the Arctic!
There. Done. That was fun.. Thanks, Nady!
