Thank God it's Thursday!

This week has been real crazy so I am looking forward to chill out this weekend. I need to catch up on sleep. My REM pattern is seriously in deficit and I'm afraid that would have some downside in the long run. Last night I got to bed at 12.25am and my alarm was on for 4am, which means I had a little over 3.5 hours of sleep to look forward to. One of the bad effects of this is that I cannot sleep for more than 6 hours at a time now because my body is so used to cramming in rest and sleep within 4-5 hours.

So this weekend, it's all about chilling out.

Sleep: I will probably get to bed late tonight but will stay in bed until well after 11am tomorrow. That should be enough for my REM cache.

TV: The reason for the late bedtime. I am catching up on Bones Season 3, apparently I didn't get to see the last 3 episodes which explains why I have no idea what they are talking about when they referred to Zach in the new season premier. I also have the first two episodes of Heroes Season 3, NCIS Season 6 premier. And of course tomorrow I will get to see the much awaited episode 2 of Supernatural. I think fans are more eager for ep 2 than the premier! Can't wait to see Castiel Dean again. :)

Knitting: I am working on my Old World Stocking which is a part of the Worldwide Christmas Stocking Swap at Ravelry. I started the cuff last night and I am so happy with my choice of pattern. It is fairly easy and the yarn is so good. I will probably buy more of this yarn and substitute it for Rowan Polar called for in the Anthorpologie-inspired Capelet I plan to knit as a birthday present for my sister. Hopefully I will get much of the stocking done during this weekend.

I will probably rotate between the stocking, the Clapotis and the Jaywalkers just for variety.

Reading : I picked up a few second-hand books from the guys at work and a couple of them have captured my attention. I will probably read them a chapter or so at a time before bed. but I really need to get cracking on the old bookshelf. So many new titles, so little time to read.

What are you doing this weekend?
