who knits?
I'm so happy today. Go on, ask me why. Go on!

The yarn I ordered from The W.W.W. (Wonderful Women at Wool-Tyme) has arrived. *does a happy dance* And these are going to be knit up into Rose's Wristwarmers, or to be more precise, skroberts's and stoopbeck's Wristwarmers.
It is smooshy and soft and comes in this yummy Red Heather colour. I am dying to cast-on but with my excellent knitting speed (not!) I'm afraid to start on a new project again before the ones in my needles are finished.
Let's see, I still have Viel's scarf to finish. The darned thing is just too long, or not long enough to be a proper scarf yet. I got Eivy helping out with that when she can. Then I have the rest of Isabelle's Anouk dress. And a lace headband, which is more like a practice project really, to see if I can work with a crochet yarn and do simple lacework. Then there's the Ribbed Shell which I started months ago which I am likely going to frog and start again, but this time to be worked in the round because I find that a lot easier. Oh then there's my first pair of socks, which are actually going alright. I'm about to start turning the heel. Yikes! What else is there? Ooh, I started on the first of Fetching, which is brilliant as it's the first time I'm doing something on DPN's.

Anyway, skroberts and stoopbeck, I promise to make this hopefully in time for winter. Wish me luck!
