PSA: Dreamwidth and Insanejournal (..... and rambling)
Most of you are aware that a lot of LJ users have finally decided to move on to another journal/fandom-friendly sites and one of them is dreamwidth .
I also happen to have an account there as well as at insanejournal under the same name, dyoklako. So if you all don't mind adding me up there with a note/comment on who you are and how/why you had added me and a request to add you back? I would gladly do that. (yeah, i need to check your usernames since they might be different from what you used here, ne?)
Anyway, the reason for this post is that I may have to move on to those two other journals if things really get bad here (and they are starting to really, really get bad). So I will have to delete this journal when that time finally comes. (I hope it will not come to that)
I have made great friends here and am sad at the current state of things so I hope to be able to still continue to be friends with you when you all are able to move on to those two other sites and we can get reacquainted once more.
In this regard, if you need codes to get dreamwidth, you may go their site and search for the dreamwidth codesharing community so that you can create your own accounts from them. It is a great site same with insanejournal but you don't need a code to create an account from them.
I have been screening my posts here (not much but they are really not for public consumption) and I will be creating/updating the back-ups later (ugh. the peyn.... teh pey~n! DX) for posterity.
I feel really sad since I have this journal for eight (8) years now and it has helped me through a lot of difficulties and formed various friendships through all the wonderful communities that they have here. I will miss those if they choose not to move to other places where I can still get ahold of them. :(
In future, pls check out this page if and when that eventual move has finally commenced. Thank you and may we be able to get together soon! :)
