Okay, so we have a pretty rough and wet All Hallow's Eve today. The winds are STRONG! So was/is were/are the rains in the wee hours of the morning! (I woke to it. Scary!)
Typhoon Santi (Int'l name: MIRINAE) Went directly from the East and passed straight all the way to the West and is expected to leave for the South China Sea by 9a.m. today. That still will leave us with a wet weather the rest of the day as it has slowed down considerably since making landfall late Thursday evening/early Friday morning.
So despite the good luck we had with Typhoon Pepeng and Typhoon Ramil (Int'l name: HAGUPIT), we were not spared this time but we hope the weather will clear soon and we can pay our respects to our dearly departed.
We were planning to go to the Garden of the Divine Word Columbary here in Christ The King Seminary in New Manila to visit papa's urn this morning but we will have to delay it and see if the weather will get better (hey, it will be troublesome if we get stuck in traffic and floods along the way. Crowds can really be unruly when they are not controlled. And we want our solemnity preserved in this special place as it is a really nice place to spend despite its morbid surroundings.
EDIT: We will go there later this afternoon when the weather really clears out. :)
Here is the latest satellite image of the weather.
