Yesterday was a very busy day for me even if I started out quite late. Or maybe because I started out late. ^^"
The thing of note here is that from where I live, everything is practically conveniently located and can be reached by foot (or if you are feeling lazy, by jeepney or tricycle). Our house is very near the busy business district hence the "convenience" of having a lot, if not, most of the major banks having their branch offices practically right next to each other (and I mean literally). Also notice that a major set up in most municipalities and cities all over the country are the way the Municipal Hall/City Hall, the Catholic Church and Schools are located right across from each other or beside each other and nearby will be the Public Wet and Dry Market. ^^"
So back to what I was telling, I went out late, like at 11:20a.m. and started to do my errands for the day which involves visiting a bank. Or rather, a number of banks to be more precise. -.-"
First to the UnionBank to renew/rollover/update a Time Deposit, then to BDO to deposit a cheque, and then to PNB to ask about the car insurance they were offering and to get the OR from the T-Bill that was renewed/re-applied the day before and finally at MetroBank to deposit a donation to UNICEF's account.
Yup. Been to four banks in a span of an hour or so. ^^"
After the last bank visit, I spent some time at the nearby Mercury Drugstore to look at the groceries and waited for a bit since it was already lunchtime/lunchbreak and I still need to go to the churches to offer mass for today. One o'clock came and I walked my way back to Grace Church to offer mass for Papa. Then at our parish, San Roque Cathedral for a similar mass. Both masses offered are for today (9 OCtober) one of them which I attended earlier this morning and officiated by Bishop Iniguez of the Diocese of Caloocan. ^^
But I digress. After going to San Roque, I then crossed over to the City Hall to ask where the local COMELEC office is in our area and I was directed to walk for several minutes to their district office where I inquired about my status as a registered voter. There was a line and I was afraid I might have to come back at an earlier time but I was kindly let inside the crowded office and directed to one of the desks there to check if I was indeed registered. I still am but I need to update my file and had to fill out a form then have my photo and fingerprints taken, bypassing the first-time registrants as I am a "priority case" because I was simply updating my file with the COMELEC. After a few more minutes and a quick interview during the photo and fingerprinting procedure, I was finally done and got out of there within 30 minutes! ^^
Satisfied with this unplanned visit as I only went there to just check where it was located and to direct Engr. bro and youngest bro to where they should register since they haven't yet. I also sent a txt msg/SMS to my Elder bro telling him that he too should make time to update his data with the COMELEC before the deadline which is on 30 October 2009. And it has be early in the morning to avoid the crowds and he gets to finish quicker.
Finally, I decided to treat myself by exchanging the remaining charge slips I have from BPI Express Credit for a couple of free Jollibee foods namely Jolly Hotdog and Regular Yum with Fries. :D~
And so I walked in the rain with my umbrella back to our house.
Oh, I had to take the tricycle when I went to the first bank then walk for the other banks and then take the jeepney for the parish church and walk the rest of the way until I got home.
Tired but satisfied. Though I slept by midnight only to wake up at 3 a.m. today and still awake until now. It is already 6:45 p.m. and I will be sleeping immediately after I watched back-to-back episodes of Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood on Animax at 8 p.m.
Then I had to wake at 5 a.m. again tomorrow because we are going to our house in Dasmarinas, Cavite for some touch-ups on the door and quickie repairs on the polycarb roof and the gutter on one part of the house which has been leaking whenever it rains.
Yesh, beeshee ish me. *ish feeling the tiredness*
BUT I have to watch FMA:Brotherhood tonight or I'll miss it altogether! ;-;
