In tenterhooks....
So, I waited the whole day on edge waiting for the coveted call about my job application but the day has come and gone and no call nor text was received. (-.-)
I decided to give them a call today just to be sure that I really didn't miss their call since my mobile phone's battery finally died and I was charging it (though I decided to keep it on just in case they did try to call me while the battery was being charged).
I called the HR Personnel and inquired as to why they did not call and asked about the status of my application. He said that the country director just arrived yesterday and had not looked at the list they have. They promised to give me a call on Tues instead (since Monday is a special national holiday being People Power Day) as they are also still finalizing the schedule.... hmmmm.... that is a pretty loaded statement there.
Why? This will create havoc at our family business since it is based here in NCR while that job will be in the province. Argh. XP
But I like to give this job a try. It will be good for me overcome several of my insecurities and help me get back on track in relation to really working compared with what I do at our family business. ^^"
I am really going to do a real good job in here so I can say that I really can do this and a lot more.
