i took a nap this evening and had the most awful nightmare. first i couldn't see right, like one of my eyes wasn't working, so i looked in the mirror, and although my left eye was still there, the pupil wasn't, so it was just an eyeball of gaping whiteness and blood vessels. then i woke up, or at least i saw my exact real world surroundings,

analogy #1: [sorcerer's stone] the defense against the dark arts teacher quirrell [aka bad guy] has a giant turban on his head. jerome has a giant fro on his head. i wonder what's underneath all that hair on the back of his head..

analogy #2: [chamber of secrets] students hear the basilisk's voice as he moves through the halls behind the walls so you can't see him. jen hears jerome's voice in the room when she can't see him. when students see the basilisk's eyes in the mirror, they get paralyzed. lisa sees a giant eyeball in the mirror and is paralyzed. coincidentally, jen is also paralyzed soon after hearing jerome's voice.

analogy #3: [prisoner of azkaban] dementors come and suck out people's souls. what's next? jerome comes and sucks out our souls and our happiness?! ahhhhhhh! run!
