Belated Gobble.

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.

I started the day off with a great classic movie--CARMEN JONES, from the 1950s. (Hey--anything Dorothy Dandridge, Diahann Carroll, Bette Davis, or Lucille Ball is my cuppa tea. And the legendary Pearl Bailey was magnificent.) Then I hit up the Macy's parade while cooking my two contributions to Turkey Day dinner, my famous chicken Brunswick stew and made-from-scratch macaroni and cheese (famous in my own mind, anyway). Dinner at the folks' was cool, with family coming from all four corners. Ending the day by finishing a scene for Book 2 WIP was the ticket. I slept like a baby, for once.

I made certain to take note of the things I am thankful for. The actual size of that final list surprised me. It always does. Why is that, I wonder?

P.S. HUGE congratulations to online pal Cleve, a talented filmmaker (http://www.followingblissthemovie.com) for finishing his first fantasy novel! As we all know, getting to THE END is the hardest part.
