The latest version of Winamp comes with a really awesome skin- the Bento skin.
Admittedly, I'm a sucker for skins that have that tiny bar at the bottom telling me which song has just started playing- I'm pretty sure that I'll get tired of it soon, but that's a different thing. For now, I'm happy with the informative goodness.
There's that and the fact that the Haro skin that I've been using is currently a little glitchy with the new player- it's constantly forcing my Media Library pane to go underneath the main player pane. This obstructs my view of the songs I'm searching for (my songs are most haphazardly sorted, and I...don't think I want to go and categorise close to 2000 songs), which makes me go :\. It's also glitching in other places, but let's leave it at that.
In other news, had a rather quiet birthday. Got a few birthday wishes from the chan, no elaborate SMSes this year, and most of my LJ forgot about me save for panthera_felis, LOL. Family went out for sushi at Sakae Sushi, and I've learnt that I should go for lunch at 1.00 pm+ if I want good cuts of sashimi to come down the kaiten belt- people near the counter will slow down with their consumption then. Sat down at 12, left a little past 1, and discovered that the good cuts of fish only came out when I was full and about to leave. Sadface, sadface.
In other news, I passed my driving exam today. I'm officially ready to be roadkill kill required roadkill. :D
