I'm sitting here and I'm listening to one of the most gorgeous choral pieces in the world. Gregorio Allegri's "Miserere." It was written especially written for Matins services inside the Sistine Chapel on Wednesdays, and it was forbidden to be copied. Mozart heard it once when he was 14 and wrote it down from memory. It's in G minor. Mmm..It's so pretty. I had a wonderful weekend with Alicia, and it was great. I can't wait to see her again next weekend for the Jazz Mass. My room is so peaceful..lonely..but peaceful. The Miserere is so beautiful..it fills every void, all except one. However, I'm so overjoyed, I can wait. I'm so happy.
