Weeelll...I have no idea how that audition went. Apparently the guy from Winnipeg was looking for a much more operatic sound out of all of us, so I doubt I'll be getting a callback. However, a good experience. One upside is that I got the Bass solo in the Durufle Requiem, that Christ Church is doing on Remembrance Day. Should be good...the score is cool..and the bass solo is really lyrical, but pretty.
I got to have a crack at the new organ at Christ Church. THAT was cool. Holy freakin crap it's huge. It has SUCH a full sound, makes me want to sex it. yes. I want to sex a church organ.
Had a good evening with Vanessa watching band of brothers, and eating quiznos *drool*. It was good to not be alone on a friday evening. I have no clue what I'll do today...ahh the endless possibilities. Maybe I'll clean my room. maybe not. Well..It's cold, and I'm going back to bed. sleepy.
