Personality:
Locke is a man who puts others ahead of himself. He will sometimes do this recklessly, when not even knowing the true status of the one he's helping, as he feels it the right thing to do. It has become his own self-appointed job to protect those who need it, especially females. The reasoning for such actions is due from an accident that had happened when the man was much younger. He was with his girlfriend, Rachel, going on a treasure hunt run. When going across a bridge, it became unsteady and it was Rachel who shoved him to safety. Locke climbed down after her to nurse her back to health, but was met with something he was unprepared for. The girl had suffered amnesia, and couldn't recall who her saviour was. All she knew was her father was angry with him, and wished for Locke to leave her and her family alone.
He left as she wished. Always feeling at fault for what had happened, he learned that further tragedy had struck when the Empire attacked his hometown. Rachel was mortally injured in the strike, yet remembered Locke and said his name before life vanished from her. When he learned of this, his heart was stricken with grief and regret.
He vowed never to let another suffer the same fate as Rachel. In fact, when he encounters Celes Chere of the Empire, he's hesitant at first to have anything to do with her. However, when he sees that the Empire's own generals is held captive and helpless, he offers to help her escape.
Locke is faithful to his friends, willing to stand up for them if given the chance. He is a man of action. He is against tyranny of any sort and will fight for the freedom of others. While he shows to be very well spoken in his actions, his hidden past is what helps him in his cause. While feeling guilty for an accident not of his own fault, he feels at ease in knowing he can be there to help others. If the task is risky, he will be the first to offer aid. He strongly denies any manner of government to control the lives of others. Freedom is his choice of life.
Abilities: Human wise, without the aid of espers... Locke is quite the skilled... treasure hunter. While most view this practice as that of a common thief, he takes serious offense to it. In fact... he'll even threaten you if you don't use the correct term he's looking for. The fellow is quick, nimble, and quite handy with daggers and knives.
