(no subject)
Paper update (again):
After rewriting the entire thing in a day, I sent it to my boyfriend, who gave it back *covered* in red ink. He was much harsher than the other person I asked to read the first draft.. Just shows how invested he is in me getting into grad school, I guess. So I've spent the last two-three days cleaning it up, and I think I have a workable version now. I'll have him check over the last few questionable spots tomorrow before we go to Sendai, then turn it in Monday. I picked up the other things I needed (envelopes, stamps) today.
I've also bought a shitload of omiyage (souvenirs) for my family. I still need something for my grandfather and one newphew, and some food for everyone, but I'm nearly done. Which is good, because I made a reservation for Kuroneko to pick up my suitcase tomorrow between 1 and 3 and ship it to Narita for me, a service which costs about $20, by the way. I <3 Japan.
Anyway, if there's anyone at home who wants to see me next week, speak up now, cause I may still have time to fit you in :P
(PS: I saw the Gokusen movie today. First time I've ever paid full price ($18) for a movie here)
