The idea behind relativity is basically how you see something from your physical position in space and time or from your perspective in space and time. The classic example is the famous moving train. If you see something fall off a moving train from an embankment you see it fall in a parabolic curve. If you see something fall off a moving train from the train itself, you see it fall in a straight line. The measurements in space are done from your location and its' x, y, z dimensions. The same thing happened which was that something fell off the train. How it is interpreted in detail is dependent on your location in space and time. If your time was out you wouldn't have seen it at all. It has been established that light has a maximum velocity of 300,000 km/ sec. or 186,000 miles / sec. Since you and I see things through light or photons hitting our eyes, then this is the maximum speed we're going to see something happen from our perspective or location in space and time. If something we see is in motion, then its' maximum motion is the speed of light. Obviously, most things we see aren't anywhere close to the speed of light and therefore to simplify things we just write down the velocity and ignore subtracting it from the speed of light and adjusting our equations accordingly. Time in our space-time world is broken down into measurements or lengths such as seconds, minutes and hours. Velocity or acceleration is basically how fast something travels those seconds, minutes and hours. The quantum world is the reverse of the real world. Space only exists as a marker in the quantum world. In the quantum world we think of space as right here or over there. We can't travel through space in the quantum world to get from here to there because space doesn't physically exist in the quantum world. If we can't physically travel through space to get from A to B because physical space in the quantum world doesn't exist, then how does relativity work??? Relativity in the quantum world is all about time. The quantum world is based on energy and time and as such could be called an energy-time world . We could consider that an energy-time world is energy at a certain time. Time in the quantum world involves the past, present and future. Quantum particles, as balls of energy, show all the states, possibilities and information at the same time. This process is called superposition and is equivalent to our being able to go anywhere at any time under all conditions in our real world of space. Another concept in the quantum world is something I call superlocation. Since space doesn't physically exist in the quantum world more than one thing can exist at the same spot or location. Travel in the quantum world is done through a process called entanglement, because the quantum world can't move through physical space because physical space doesn't exist . If I have a quantum particle here and another particle over there, I can entangle my particle with the other particle to make both particles have the same states, possibilities, and information at the same time. This process of entanglement of two quantum particles also involves quantum time acting relativistically. Time from a relativistic viewpoint means that if I do something in the quantum world, I do it in the present. As soon as I finish doing something, that something moves into the past time. If I do a process on something in the present and it takes time to do, than that process moves into the future time. This relativistic movement of time, is equivalent to moving things into different locations in a space-time world.
Here's how the relativistic movement of time works, but it gets confusing.
1.
Alice has a quantum particle which is in quantum present time.
2.
Alice entangles her quantum particle in quantum present time with another quantum particle that is also in present quantum time. The entangled quantum particle travels to Alice's quantum time future because the entanglement process consumes quantum time.
3.
Alice's future entangled particle is given to Victor. Relativistically speaking, the entangled particle is in the present as far as Victor is concerned because he received the entangled particle in quantum time now. It may still be in the future from Alice's relativistically perspective in time. From a relativistic viewpoint the quantum particle is in Alice's quantum time future and also in Victor's quantum time present.
Therefore in the quantum world you have:
Relativistic time which means the same quantum particle can be in someone's past, present, future at the same time it's in someone else's past, present, future.
