And by the by I was very dissapointed at the lack of costumed folks out on the streets. Come on, Austin! You're a young town, let's see some goodies!
Anyways I'm super excited because we've finally made a connection with someone who is willing to record us (a full length, no less!), master the recording and get us a great deal on cd's with color sleeves. Supposed to get it done around Christmas time.In the meantime, we also finally got our first gig lined up, and it's for a party, which means a fairly controlled audience, and great exposure. Plus we've started practicing very regularly, and today we did so until my fingers and throat were sore. I also managed to finish two songs today in the span of 45 minutes. YAY! My head hurts...
