running like the gingerbread man
I can't wait until all of this is said and done, & I can settle down again a little bit. Been running around Austin a lot for these last couple of weeks and managed somehow to get a new job and a house for me and my housemates. Can't believe I'm gonna live with so many people again. Cant believe I'm living away from new orleans. All the places I played make believe at as a kid are gone...
So now Im currently in small town,La avoiding the wrath of rita. I just want to get back to austin, to try and make some kindof home for myself. Optimistically, there's a lot more oppertunity for my music and the band out there. Especially now that the whole effin band's under the same roof. There also seems to be a lot more open and interesting people in Austin, and I hope to see what the trans-scene is like. Never hurts to know. I miss Nola terribly and all of my people who were there. All I can say is that I hope we'll cross paths again.
