Where all the babes at?
And by "babes" I mean babies. I have no little people in my life. It's kind of depressing to me. I dont really know if Id be good around young people. Mariana's youngest sister was the youngest I knew; she's in 2nd grade. Now the youngest I know is like 14. None of my relatives/friends/colleagues are having kids. Kinda sucks.
Finished my first week of classes. They actually dont look too bad. Ended up dropping Conducting II and Adv. Orchestration. I just dont need that much work. I feel a little better than I did in my last entry. The first steel drum orchestra practice reminded me of why Im pursuing music. So much fun.
And now for a random contemplation on "safewords". If you dont know, a safeword is a word both partners agree upon before having sex so that if things go too far, you can say the word and theyll know to stop. Presumably this is because saying "stop" might mean "keep going" to some people? But anyway, I'm pretty sure that you wouldnt need to agree upon a specific word before having sex. If your partner randomly shouts out "JUMBALAYAH!", I think you'd be weirded out enough to stop.
