Today was coo. Taught at North Hollywood. I really love teaching there. I wish band was 2 hours long every day. Hopefully, I'll soon be getting on writing a percussion ensemble piece for them.
Then tonight I went to a taiko drum workshop. It was pretty basic, and I was the best one there because of my music background, but I learned some basic technique. It's actually pretty fun and exercisey. Got a blister though.
Tomorrow, I'm going estate salesing with my mom and Alex J's mom. I think I'm gonna bring a tuner and find wine glasses and try to fill out at least an octave of chromatic scale. Then I'm heading back to LB to rehearse for a recital I'm playing in.
Next weekend is going to be hell. Going home Thursday night, maybe going to LA Phil thing with NoHo in the morning?, teaching NoHo in the afternoon, going to En Garde on Saturday, cutting out early to go play in that recital at 8 PM, somehow get back to LA that night, go to En Garde Sunday morning, then go all the way back to LB again. >.<
I'm filling out my housing application for next semester and there's a new section on it. "I intend to receive the Meningococcal vaccine ( ) Before Sept 30th or ( ) Already received vaccine." Uhhh...no, screw you. I'm not gonna get an injection of anything I don't need. I calculated the odds, and I'm more likely to win the Lottery than GET the disease, much less die from it. So uhhhhh no.
Gotta go do hw now, tata.
