This weeks Heroes left me stunned. It just keeps getting better and better, I love the directions they're taking the characters.
The scene that really grabbed me was the one between Parkman and his father trapped in a nightmare. Listening to Parkman telling off his father felt cathartic and reminded me of something I keep seeing in popular culture.
Maybe it's just the shows that I watch as of late, mostly Heroes and Lost but it's the same theme that I've seen since Fight Club: parents of our generation are manipulative and not to be trusted.
What does this says about our generation? I have no relations with my parents anymore and I've grown to prefer it that way. I wonder just how wide-spread this is among my peers.
