In a desperate attempt to get away from the vacuum cleaner, my elder cat banged into the tripod holding a projector sending it crashing to the ground. Needless to say, digital projectors don't particularly enjoy the process of going from happily sitting in the sky to suddenly smashing into a wooden floor. It worked for a few hours afterwards but was quickly turned off once it started to smell like burning plastic. So I bought a new projector-- a
Sanyo PLV-Z60.
But the big question is: what to do with a broken projector that will most likely catch on fire? Give it to some geeks who might be able to salvage it? Or just let it set itself ablaze and enjoy the show?
Now to wait for the FedExMan to get the new one to me. I wonder if I could rockband without it in the meantime..
