young and lost
i seem to have begun a habbit of writing in here every sunday as that is when the weekend ends therefore when i have most to write about, so i will carry on my new habbit...
this week, the weekend started on wednesday! it was last day of skul, tho i didnt go in as had grade 8 piano exam, which went awfully :( . wed night me sal n kel went to ally paly 2 c razorlight in evenin. wen first arrived, was walking towards the loos wen i was pounced on from behind and flipped upsidedown by biff who'd come wiv a couple of friends from work! was gd 2 c him agen and so happy that we get on so well still.
got into the main hall bit to find john spencer blues explosion starting to play which was a pleasant suprise as we had thought that yeti were the only support. however after talkin to some guys nearby we found to our horror that yeti had already played and that we'd missed them!!!!!!!!!! :( razorlight were amazing tho and gig was lot of fun, spent first few songs finding the tallest people in the crowd and asking them to give me piggy backs so i cud hav a gd view of johnny borrell mmmmmm
got home bout 12ish and mate of mine came drove round despite me being covered in sweat and beer and we went for walk down canal wich was really cool.
thursday had to get up at 7am and go into school for extra maths lessons coz we're so behind :s was sooooooooooo boring, didnt finish till 2pm, so was bout 5hrs of maths!... with cake breaks ;)
thurs night went into town wiv stu, lee n katherine, was rather random mix, but had really gd night! ended up in destiny and ran into lots of ppl back from uni.
walked back to croxely and stu let me borrow his sofa for the night, thankye stuuuu!
sat mornin went round nelmses briefly coz was sands bday, then got home, changed and had driving lesson and got dropped in pinner and joined people at sallys for pizza and a pathetic video lol.
everyone decided they were too tired and hungover to go into town agen sat night, so instead...we decided to go iceskating! sal drove us to ally paly agen (thanks sal!). nearly backed out when we got there to find hoards of chavs waitin to go in, but turned out to be really fun, havent been iceskating since me n biff went in paris at new yr yr b4 last, so was completely hopeless to begin with but was gettin the hang of it towards the end!
sat went into london to c vincent vincent and the villains play instore at rough trade. ran into nat ong on way and mate from bournemouth who'd come down specially to c them. they were wicked and coz was so small we hung out wiv them 4 bit after.
me n howard then went round camden looking for shoes lik the ones the guys in vvtv were wearing but with no luck and ended up lounging around on the grass by the lock eating yummy camden food.
then went to pure groove in archway to c tom vek, but there was quite a long queue and hardly any space inside the shop so carried on walkin to nambucca where we saw too bands both with extremely similar names..."the cuts" and "the cut"!!! decided nambucca is one of my new fav places, music and atmosphere were great, everyone in there was really cool. saw nat and her friends agen in there 2.
after that went to frog where we ran into couple of memembers from vvtv agen which was cool. saw the cazals play, who werent bad...lol. was my first time at frog, but the music was so fun def wanna go agen v.soon!
left at bout 3.30, tho was actually 4.30am coz of clocks having gone forward. got subway and was bout to get nightbus wiv howard back to victoria coach station coz apparently u can go inside therefore hopefully slightly warmer place to spend next few hrs b4 trains start agen, when i found an amazing discovery...a night bus abck to uxbridge!!!!!!!!!!! this was brilliant, so i got that and then had nice 40min brisk walk home along the canal from ux to my house! by time i got in, was really light outisde, went upstaits and started to write livejournal...which is where i am now!
its now nearly 8.30am and am not sure whether it wud b best to sleep or to stay up and jus go to bed early tonight. am supposed to be going out wiv nads and mayb chris and friends later and have jus seen on message board that ppl r goin ova 2 doms so looks like yet again no work is going to get done today...unless i start now...i imagine tho that my eyes will close as soon as i open my physics text book so mayb i shud try bed first...nunite xxx
