Crazy Dolphin Sex

So after dropping off Blake (I'm not calling him Robinhood anymore) at work near Kahana Beach yesterday morning, I drove over to the beach to take a quick dip. Someone asked me: are you going to swim with the dolphins? Theres a whole pod out there. I looked out, way, way out where I never swim to, and sure enough, there they were jumping out of the water. I borrowed a mask and grabbed my noodle and started paddling out. It took forever, and I drank ocean water many times. This was not beach side resort dolphin playground, this was open water, and I was nervous. Esp. when I got closer, and saw the fins coming up out of the water 20 feet away. They looked like sharks! - at first. I was later to learn, that A) a sharks fins are more triangular and less curvy, B)Sharks don't travel in groups, usually alone or maybe one or two, and there where just dosens of them... and C) Dolphins tend to keep sharks away from humans when they are swimming together. I did not know those things at the time, but I kept going farther out. Since I didn't have my snorkel, I had to keep holding my breath and dunking my head down. I saw, all swimming in pairs, and occasionally three's: dolphins, all below me, being dolphin like: playing, doing it, jumping out of the water near me and doing flips. They were incredibly beautiful. None ever came close enough for me to touch them, I think they were teasing me. Sometimes they would come up unexpectedly and I would feel them wooshing by, and then jumping up and out. They were def. very curious and freindly. I came back in, and met "the dolphin lady" who apparently knows a lot of the specific dolphins personally. Later, I went and got my snorkle gear, and went out again with her and a couple of other people. This was so much easier, to not have to hold my breath. The ocean floor was just visible, and quite nice to look at even though it was rediculously far away. This time we saw almost two hundred dolphins. They were just everywhere. I noticed that the fish swimming near the dolphins where acting sortove crazy, spinning around and doing their own water aerobatics. I am longing to own an underwater camara.
