Wonder of wonders...
What a day I have had. It started on the morning commute. Another too early morning on the bus. A woman and her daughter get on and long story short...she didn't have enough for a day pass. Being the observant person that I am I noticed her dilemma. The bus rolls on and I get this message to give her my day pass. The message can from deep inside. I felt moved of the spirit to do it. I'm not getting all Anne Heche and loopy on anyone, I just honestly felt that I should. So I did. She said she didn't need it, but I gave it to her anyway. On my second bus that actually gets me to work I prepared to buy another one only to have the fare box stop working. I didn't have to pay a fare. Immediate reciprocation for my good deed. Not only did I benefit, but so did everyone else on that bus after me. Then into my workday I close another deal. I am a badass account exec. Anyway, I was told that because I am succeeding so quickly in my position that I am now at the pay rate I would have had to wait another two weeks for. Not only did I get a four dollar raise, my boss made it retroactive to Monday....YEAAHHHHHAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! I am blessed.
