Favorite Fine/Contemporary Artists: Betsy Shults - her sculptures are amazing, Matthew Klos, Lee Bogle, Becca Martin (art student I know personally)
Favorite Movies/Plays/Musicals: Beaches, Moulin Rouge, Better than Chocolate, Duck Variations (by David Mamet), Measure for Measure (Shakespeare), The Crucible (Arthur Miller), Guys and Dolls, The Sound Of Music, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera
Favorite Museum/Theatre/Arts Centre/Etc: Museum - The Natural History Museum in London, I love the displays. My favourite Arts Centre is the Jersey Arts Centre down the road from me, I'm heavily involved in volunteering there and I am a member of the in house adult theatre group.
Favorite Politician/Activist/Writer: Yes I'm a JK Rowling fan, but it's because I aim to have her sort of success with my children's books... to be able to draw in such a wide audience is a gift. I also love Jodi Picoult, she draws you in and the twists in her books are often unexpected.
Favorite City/Place: I don't have a favourite city, perhaps because I've grown up on a little island in the middle of the English Channel, so I have to say my favourite place is The Cosmopolitan, my local bar/club, there's always a diverse selection of people in there.

Abortion Laws: Abortion is a woman's right. Not one I necessarily agree with as I believe all life to be a gift, but I understand the need for it.
Feminism: Can be taken to far, but I'm all for women having power.
Marriage Laws: Suck in a lot of places... but I'd rather call it Civil Partnership if you're talking about the GLBT community
Alternative Parenting: As long as a child has all the love it needs that's all that matters
Higher Education: Insist we go to college then make it harder to get a job because so many people have degrees
