Favorite Musical Groups/Artists: Leave's Eyes, Hoobastank, Cradle of Filth, Disturbed, Bon Jovi, Bush (I enjoy a large variety of music)
Favorite Books/Publications: I love fantasy books: Wheel of Time, Cronicles of Narnia, the Magic Kingdome of Landover series, Harry Potter (I know, but I really enjoy them). I really enjoy Terry Brooks as an author. For magizines, I always get Heavy Metal and a little publication called Positive Thinking.
Favorite Fine/Contemporary Artists: I adore Nene Thomas, Louis Royo, Christian Reese Lassen, and both Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell.
Favorite Movies/Plays/Musicals: I enjoy comedies mostly, especially by Mel Brooks. The Producers is the first to come to mind. There is also a soft spot in my heart for Grease and Bye Bye Birdie.
Favorite Museum/Theatre/Arts Centre/Etc: I am very much in love with the Andy Warhal Museum in Pittsburgh. I practically LIVED there for awhile.
Favorite Politician/Activist/Writer: It would have to be Hillary Clinton.
Favorite City/Place: Ble Ridge Mountains

Abortion Laws: Girls who don't even TRY to take percautions should have to keep the baby, otherwise I am pro choice.
Feminism: I believe in equal rights but I am not a man hater.
Marriage Laws: As long as they aren't trying to marry animals or inanimate objects, what is the problem?
Alternative Parenting: Honestly, I don't know what that is. What is "normal" anymore?

Now answer it: It is my belief that there are many pats that lead to the same place (eternal happiness/enlightenment), what you call it (God, Buddah, Diana, etc...) is up to you.
Finally, why do you belong here? I hope this doesn't sound silly, but I want to "broden my horizons". I am interested in hearing other people's opinions and shareing my own, as well as learn from it and even change my opinion in some cases. I want to get to know other strong minded women and hopefully not feel so alienated from people, since I am a Liberal in a VERY Conservative area.
What would you bring to this community? I want to express my opinions and thoughts. I'm willing to debate and stand up for myself while listening to what others say and considering it. Intelligent converstion is, at least from what I see, a dieing artform.
