Moving on...moving up!
From August 1-5 Jen & I were in Ottawa checking out feasible leads on apartments, and squeezing in as many interviews as possible. If all goes anywhere close to as planned *deep breath* we will settling into our new digs, surroundings, & way of living by September.
The last time I took this bold of a risk in pursuit of change, was a decade ago...when baby dyke me boarded a plane to Chicago in the name of love, free will, and my undying quest to always know and experience more. The key difference here being that I am a big queer now!
Here's to old friends, enemies, victories and defeats. Here's to all E-town has built me up and knocked me down to. Here's to my girlfriend, and best friend who understands my silences, and somehow shares some of my more off-beat dreams. Here's to the start of something new, and the revitilization of something sacredly old.
