Vices and Virtues

"A dream becomes a reality in 4 stages....dreaming, wanting,
planning, and doing. Courage is the glue. If you don't have
courage you will never want it bad enough to plan. If you
don't have courage, you will never plan it well enough to
do. If you don't have courage, the plan will never fulfill
your dreams. If you do not fulfill your dreams, you may not
have the courage to dream again. Courage my friend!" ~Unknown.

"Courage charms us, because it indicates that a man
loves an idea better than all things in the world,
that he is thinking neither of his bed, nor his dinner,
nor his money, but will venture all to put in act the
invisible thought of his mind" ~Ralph Waldo Emerson.

"Few are willing to brave the disapproval of their
fellows, the censure of their colleagues, the wrath of
their society. Moral courage is a rarer commodity than
bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one
essential, vital quality for those who seek to change a
world that yields most painfully to change" ~Robert F. Kennedy.

There are so many things that I must see come to pass, and I am finding myself searching new depths of myself for the courage to put that to practice. It is with a grave sense of moral and spiritual obligation that I continue to speak up against the roar of the crowd.

"But words are things, and a small drop of ink,
falling like dew, upon a thought, produces that which
makes thousands, perhaps millions, think" ~Lord Byron
