Things you shouldn't do before bed...
So, just before i fall asleep at night, i normally lay there in bed thinking. And most of the time its either about art, one of my stories, my next RPG session, or somesuch; something reasonably creative. Since i've gotten my first short-story for my comic scripted and sketched, i figured that i'd start thinking about the script for #2. Well, #2

Oh, and Rob, zombies being slow--that's just a myth...
*crazy old man voice* "I've seen 'em--lumbering along, almost aimless like. Me and ol' Gordy, we thought we could take them down quick-like.
We's low on ammo, so Gordy figures it safe ta' walk up...well, he gets a few shots off, clean-like. Head shots, all of em; he even stops to reload his shotgun a few times, and he's laughing like it's funny, like he should we were out drinking and hunting.
Well, them zombies just keep walking like nothing's happening, and just as Gordy lets his guard down they move in--real fast. They're at one end of the block, and I blink, and then they're right in front of Gordy.
Gordy's still laughing when he turns at me, but he gets this look on his face like he knows it's over. We both move for the truck, but poor Gordy's more'n fifty feet away from me, and I knows he ain't making it. I'm not two steps from my truck, but by the time I close the door them zombies' right on top of me.
Now, if you're ever out killin' zombies, ne'r take a truck. It's harder 'n hell ta get them bastards outta the back once they're on ya. I was driving like a bat outta hell and they're just holdin' on like it's Sunday. Thank goodness I hadn't taken any shots--it's the only thing that saved me. They're ripping at my roof, and I'm fighting one that broke through the back window, when I remember that my shotgun's on the seat next to me. I throw the barrel over my shoulder--resting right next to my head--and pull the trigger. Both barrels. It rips right through the one in the window, and knocks the others right out the back.
Still can't hear outta that ear--then again, I'm a lot better of than Gordy..."
