the weather is about 14.5 degrees.....celsius that is....bout 60 F but it feels GREAT!!!!!!!!!

the landscape is breathtaking....i will try to post pictures when i get back but no promises....um....

ive seen a castle already....in ruins, but it was amazing...to be standing where Lords of the land once lived...

oh... Rolslin Chapel.....for all those Di Vinci Code fans...i stood in the chapel where the movie was filmed as well as the ruins of the castle there as well(different castle as above)....and again it was breathtaking....

well it is 8:40 here, that is 2:40 in the CST or watever it is but yea...time difference is a big deal....

as far as people and food......people r the same, very kind and they live with all the accomodations as we do jus to put u at ease.

the food....i have tried hagas(look it up) and i love it! the black pudding was interesting but not bad at all... i cant complain...

as of now i am at my friend's house the Wilson's in the town of Killin...right off Loch Tay....ive already been to the local pub and my uncle and Scottie have downed...2 bottles of wine, 1/2 bottle of schnapps and a beer for my uncle....and that was jus up till dinner.....

it has only been a day but it has been amazing.....

lots of love and luck to all who r in school...i feel ya!!!

hey yall!!!
well this morning i slept through my alarm and woke up to the sounds of my uncle playing the bagpipes.....it was amazing!!!!!!!!!!! the best wake-up call i have ever gotten!
oh last night after i got done with my last blog thingy, we went on a drive through the hills of scotland, bout 2 hours long...i saw MANY sheep as well as plenty of hare(rabbit) and deer...not he white tail in ameerica but red deer...it was fantastic
(morning again) From there we went driving all day...we went through the hills of scotland again in the light this time and it was absolutely breathtaking.... there were signs of the earliest type of farming as well as foundation still standing from houses hundreds of years ago.
our first stop was the see the yew(oldest tree in europe) in the town of Fortingall...also there was a mound with a memorial marker which is where the dead from the village were buried during the plague by a woman in black with a white horse and carriage...
after that we stopped at "Queen's View" which was a gorgeous overlook of Loch Tummel an absolutely amazing sight with a view for miles and miles....
from there we stopped in Pitlochry which was a tourist trap! tour buses driving past, shops all down the way....but the best store was a store, Heathergem, where they turned Heather in to jewelry.... absolutely astonishing....
from there we drove to Dewars where we didnt tour the distillery b/c they charged to much...but we visited the gift shop as well as a stor up the road called..."Spirit of Wood"...wierd...but anyway from there we drove thru Aberfeldy...didnt stop... another tourist trap...
we drove by the Castle Menzies(Menges) which was still intact and absolutely awe inspiring...didnt tour(too expensive) but it was still excellent...from there we drove to a original blacksmith shop(dunno name) and from there to the town of Ben Lawres where we had dinner...omg was it good!!!!!!
from there it was home...well to the wilsons...
oh at dinner i ordered apple cider...which is hard cider here, kinda like an apple wine...it was very good...unique...
well i am off for tontie i have much to do tom. hopefully i will keep up the blogs..
much love and i miss ya!
