Summer update
Boy, that was fast.
Lesee,
- Got a (tenative) job at Wildcat, the vintage store in town. Which will be kickass, and I will be the first guy to work there. I go in Wednesday for half a day to see how things work, but I've got high hopes that I can make this work. And I hope Melody doesn't hate me.
- I've got 4 artsy projects on paper. I want to make a desktop guillotine, two rather cool watches and one other project that I'm sort of keeping under my hat. The guillotine is pretty straight foreward, as is one of the watches. The second is a bit more effort, but nothing inordinate. The sort-of-secret one is something that I intuitively understand but have no actual background or even research on. And I want to keep it that way. It's been a while since I've just sort of dived into a project without knowing directly, so I think I'll enjoy flailing around in the darkness on it.
- I've called the school about that photo lab job a few times and left a few messages, but still haven't gotten word from the director or anything. So I'll just keep trying.
