An idea is salvation by imagination

It's that time again, the time when I get restless and want to make something.
And it's never something that I've got on my ever-growing idea list.
I want to build something I haven't thought of yet.
And, as it is wont to do, I've been struck by this eagerness when I have the least amount of time to dedicate to creativity.
Hell, this semester I took a class SPECIFICALLY so I could be creative, and it's not enough.
Part of the problem is my organization of free time. The only time I'm really available to go and purhcase materials is gobbled up by school. I usually get home around 6, so specialty shops are already closed. All that's left is Target and WalMart, and I avoid going there as much as possible.
I want to BUILD something. Not even anything magnificent, I just miss the feeling of fabrication. Nudging and prodding material into fruition.
Hell, it's coming on Halloween and I haven't really made any progress on the costume I had planned, and I've got ideas for like 5 others.

STEP 1: Get money.
STEP 2: Be brilliant.

I need to go to the military surplus store in Vallejo in the morning (my flying ice-cream cone bag broke), hopefully I can see something there that will inspire me. Maybe I should make a Proton Pack...
