Ever done the "right" thing once and regretted it? Well, maybe the "right" thing isn't the best way to describe it; perhaps the "responsible" thing is a better choice of words. You know that you have to go to work the next day, and that going out to a party isn't a very responsible thing to do as you have to get up at 6 AM in order to get to work on time. So you don't go. You miss out on what could have been a wonderful evening with some friends because you want to be alert for a shitty job your parents made you take because they want you to have "ambition". Instead of going to a party, you settle for an hour and forty-five minutes in a mall with two friends buying DVDs and a CD with your newly acquired paycheck and then bussing home while they go out to party. Instead of having funny/interesting conversations with people you're actually interested in, you have a twenty minute discussion with three girls in the food court during which they annoy you to hell with their bizzarre flirting. After the mall you go home, and watch "Doctor Strangelove", which is still hilarious, but it can't lift your bad mood. In a further attempt to console yourself you listen to the CD you bought at the mall (Frances the Mute) and post in your blog.

Dammit, you should have gone to that party.
