I am, at this very moment, in hiding. My grandmother's 70th birthday is today, and we threw her a grand ol' party and invited the folks. Namely my mother's siblings, their kids, their kids' kids, godmother, godmother's son, and godmother's son's daughter. I don't like this side of my family normally...But dammit, it's creepy having your old aunt with her smoker's voice and her body completely losing the battle with gravity hitting on you. Her son is a rather dim man. He seems to think the natural caffeine source in his beer (guarana) is actually guano. Guano is bat shit.

Now I know why my father hates these reunions.
