Managed to not incur another $35 overdraft fee.
BoAssholes reversed one of four. Yay for not looking closely at daycare payments!
I'd only been keeping track of whether or not a check had been posted each week, but not the date. Turns out they were a week behind, and I overdrew a crap ton. Crap ton!
I'm so less stressed out now that I have managed to pay the 5 bills that were due these past few days. Things aren't heading up just yet, though. Looking for a job still. Pretty much anything I can get as soon as possible. Al's sending out resumés, but I'm sticking to my moving out if he doesn't have a job Monday. I really can't forgive his pride/ irresponsibility/ assholeness that he will not file for unemployment or contact DM. I've got to come up with a way to pay phone, water, cable, school supplies. At least when I turn off the water and electricity I'll get my deposits back, might cover some/most of those bills.
But I'm feeling happy, for all the complaining. School is amazing. I wish that I had done what I had always wanted to do and been an art major. I wish I could be in studios all day long. My Fibers class is one of three all week, so it's always open for me to use. I'm working on dying, pigmenting, and embroidering cottons and silks, making a set of "Ceremonial Cloths" for an assignment.
Metals 1 is basically everything I did in high school beg. jewelry, except nobody really gives a shit what we make (and can actually create sharp things!) and they have some amazing equipment. ASU seriously has an awesome studio. But just like in 9th grade, rivets totally suck and I spent like 4 hours trying to get them to line up. Maybe I'll actually get it when I go in on Friday.
Blacksmithing is intimidating, but extremely fun, rewarding, and not too difficult once you get the hang of it! I felt so accomplished after finishing the last of my 5 tapers, next I'll start practicing scrolling. Hopefully I'll be working on them Friday and Saturday, I'm behind!
I've got to sew and memorize by saturday night. At least it'll give me something to say to myself while I work!
