Real friends...Yeah some people have their own veiws on em. I have my own.
To me a real friend.....
Stands up for you no matter what, even if their wrong, they stand up for you till they cant stand anymore.
Knows enough secerts about you to ruin your whole life, but doesnt say a word, even when Pressured or in a fight with you.
Doesnt judge you because of your family or where your family lives.
Thinks that every embarssing thing you do is funny and doesnt run the other way but joins you, even when in public.
Can Make new friends and still have you their best friend. No matter how popular they get, no matter how dorky they may be, no matter what other people think.
Has good judgement. Knows when the friends they have are worth ditching and making others.
Knows allll the bad things that youve done in the past and still accpects you because, those things are in the past and nobody needs to know about them.
You can call at any time even 2 am on a school night, and tell them your problem, and they will set theirs aside no matter how big or small, and just listen to you and your problems.
Doesnt let their other friends hurt them, even if they dont get along, even if its just a "joke" they still dont let them touch them.
Can fight with you over the most stupid shit and you make up within 5 mintues of the fight happening.
Can stay friends even after moving 100 times.
Stands by you after a Death in the family...Even goes to the hospital to see you, stays the night and misses out on softball batting, just to spend that night sleeping on the floor of your computer room.
Knows whats wrong with you before you even open your mouth.
Knows what "im fine" REALLY means.
Will go to Lame family events with you and make you both have the time of your lives.
Doesnt throw away 7 years of friendship for new ones.
Doesnt get sick of doing almost the same thing every single weekend.
handmakes you birthday cards.
Knows you for who you are and still loves you, no matter how dorky and uncool you may be.
Can say simple things to cheer you up when a boy hurts you like "dont worry I think he might be gay" or "He was old enough to have kids" and as lame as they sound...you smile anyways.
Can talk about when you first met and laugh when the girl down the street tried to jump offa cliff and kill herself after kicking the boy she liked in the nuts
WILL ALWAYS BE THERE.
Thats what I think a true friend should be. Now sit there and think...how many TRUE friends do you have?
