A walk that was planned sometime back...read about it in the papers...
it was ok, prob prettier in the evenings with the sunset..
we took some pictures in Louise's camera, shall wait for her to upload..
took some on my phone..the picture on the right is the Kelong Walk. tot this part looked the prettiest. 6 sections altogether, spanning 2.6km
Sunset Walk
Kelong Walk
Cliff Walk
Sailing Point Walk
Beach Walk
Creek Walk
we completed it in a hour..was "lost" at the beginning haha unknowingly cross the pedestrian bridge that brought us to the Changi Beach Park, wondering if the signs were wrong or our map was wrong. turned out, it was just us! haha
so after the boardwalk, we return via the walking route, Netheravon road...went into Changi Hotel to use the toilets and for Louise to check out the poolside area...the hotel looks pretty decent on the inside...
then it was still too early for lunch, so we headed back to bugis instead...had lunch at Purvis Street, this Thai restaurant
ordered the Pineapple Fried rice, mixed vegetables, green curry and Fried Omelette (forgot to take pictures cos it didnt come with the rest of the dishes)
the rice wasnt that good, Lerk Thai's better. The omelette was quite nice, prawns were fresh and crunchy...the vegetables were so so. i was just telling the girls, i dont know how tis mixed vegetables is "Thai", as in it tastes the same everywhere, in Bali, Vietnam, and our very own local zi-char stalls haha
then from there we went bugis to "shop" for a while, then walked to tiong bahru....so now im tired, a little burnt at the chest area, of all places...then went to buy my breakfast for next week and came home...
good day overall...next exercise date: 28 Feb 09
decided to join WQ and his wife, my that useless-2-b-defriended-friend haha for the NJ 40th Anniversary Alumni run in the morning, then meet yihua and louise for cycling and blading @ East Coast Park in the evening...GREAT WORKOUT! i hope...haha
