This is a call.

Hip, hip, hooray for a first journal entry! This isn't gonna mean much since I'm just basically trying to figure this thing out. So, it's back to school for the last semester of my senior year. I woke up this morning with my alarm at 6:30, but I then proceeded to fall asleep again. Not knowing I needed to get up (being in deep sleep), my mom tells me that it's a quarter 'til eight! I got my clothes on, brushed my teeth, put deodorant on (you know, the essentials... although my breath still stinks... no time for Listerine) and was out the door.

It's too bad I was late. That's only the third unexcused tardy this year (one excused). You know, I've never missed a day of school, in fact, I've never missed more than one period, save field trips and the like. I probably would have taken my time and showered since I knew I was gonna be late, but I didn't want to miss eating s'mores in first period. So I'll just shower after school since I don't have Good Man (You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown) rehearsal until 5:30 today.

I had no classes scheduled for first or second period. I was cool with just not showing up until after lunch, but I've got to be in the building, and Mrs. Crowe won't let me hang out all day, so I'm a library aid second period, and in Business Economics first period. The great thing is that the class is going to be a breeze because I learned (or was taught) it all last semester in my AP Microeconomics class. Brandon suggested that I start a LiveJournal!, so here I am, and there you are.

Last night, Jesse (my youngest brother), was just looking through some stuff on Windows Media Player, and started playing all of these old songs that I had downloaded (he frustrated me by not leaving it on one song, he'd always play the first two seconds, and right when my interest was peaked, he switched it). There were some cool songs that I had forgotten about, old Thousand Foot Krutch, 12 Stones, the Earthsuit single that never was, a song by Mr. K's band, Stacie Orrico, East West, and yadda, yadda.

It's disappointing that DVDs won't play in the DVD ROM drives on the school computers. You need some DVD encoder thing, which you have to purchase! Wouldn't it have been cool to watch movies while aiding Mrs. Gray here in the library? Movies at school, any day... Ah, what may have been. Well, this has been cool enough for me.

Peace to the people,
Jon
