Just got back from watching The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Wow, what a bad movie. Or maybe it's just because I spilled all of my Coke Light before entering the theatre. Pakshet, I wanna blame that security guard who "checks" the bags, but it was my bag that knocked the cup off the guard's desk. I don't usually mind things like that, but cinema food is really over priced, and I'm saving up for uhm...shopping trips. Hehe. To people who watched the movie, did you like it? People from Flixster were raving about it naman...huh. We were supposed to watch movies from the Spanish Film Festival, but what do you know, they were sold out. P50 ba naman, as opposed to the P150 tickets for the "regular" movies. Bad trip. Download ko na nga lang ang mga yun, hahaha.

What is up with all these accidents? Last Friday on the way to the gym, I was roused from my sleep because our car suddenly stopped - and there was this girl screaming. I first thought my dad had hit the tricycle in front of us, but what really happened was that the tricycle fell to one side because one of the wheels burst. A school girl - I'm assuming she was sitting with the driver - was trapped under the tricycle. My dad was out of the car in a flash and helped turn the tricycle over (Wow, hero! Hehe). Later he told me the tricycle was overloaded, and that it was a good thing he saw the wheel or else we would have crashed too.
After the whole thing, the newscaster on the radio said that there had been an accident near Megamall. A guy crossed the street and was run over by a bus. Not only that, kinaladkad siya ng bus. It made me remember those e-mails about the accidents that supposedly happened in Ugong and Ayala (scattered brains, whoooo). I tried to sleep again, but my heart was still pounding and I couldn't get the girl's screams out of my head.
What really gets me is that accidents like that could have been avoided. I don't like speaking ill of the victims, but hellooooo. Tapos may nakikita pa akong mga tao naghahandang tumawid, at merong nakalagay sa likod nila na "Huwag tumawid nakamamatay". WTF.
It wasn't even 6:30 am yet, what a crappy morning that was.
