My mom and I were opening her Christmas presents earlier, and I swear, it's like her officemates don't even know her at all. Sige fine, maybe their relationship is purely professional, but they've been working together for years, and they should know that my mom isn't kikay at all. Every Christmas she gets like three to five
Marks & Spencer and/or
Rustan's bags filled with perfume, bath gel, lotion, makeup, etc. which end up with my sister and I. I told my mom that maybe she should drop hints that she doesn't even use the stuff. And she says, "It's okay, I appreciate their effort. And besides, you like getting my gifts naman eh."
Ngek. It's only my sister who does. Not that I completely hate the idea of getting beauty products, but I rarely ever use them. I don't want to sound ungrateful, but couldn't the blessings come in some other form besides girly crap? Hehehe. And since the gifts are piling up, I'm kind of forced to use them. I guess it's God's way of telling me that I'm becoming a filthy hippie.
Or maybe we could recycle the gifts. Hahaha. Ang panget naman.
