I like this song. I didn't give it much attention when I first heard it, but I had it on repeat the other day and it grew on me, and now I feel kind of senti when I listen to it.
Death Cab For Cutie - A Lack of Color
And when I see you
I really see you upside down
But my brain knows better
It picks you up and turns you around
Turns you around
Turns you around
If you feel discouraged
That there's a lack of color here
Please don't worry lover
It's really bursting at the seams
Absorbing everything
Spectrums A to Z
This is fact not fiction
For the first time in years
All the girls in every
Girly magazine can't make me feel
Any less alone
I'm reaching for the phone
To call at 7:03
And on your machine I slur a plea
For you to come home
But I know it's too late
And I should have given you a reason to stay
Given you a reason to stay
Given you a reason to stay
Given you a reason to stay
This is fact not fiction
For the first time in years
I read this Daniel Radcliffe interview from the latest issue of Blender where he talked about the albums he loved, and I have to say, I'm impressed. Not the "Wow ang galing galing talaga" kind of impressed, but when it comes to music he knows his stuff (That or he probably looked the artists up prior to the interview, heh). He mentioned all these old bands like The Sex Pistols and some that I've never even listened to or heard of (T-Rex, one of his dad's favorite bands). Anyway, the point is when I was a teenager, the music that I liked most was whatever was popular back then (Not that there's anything horribly wrong with that). And that if you got me to talk about my favorite albums, my answers probably would have been one-liners. In fact, get me to talk about them now, and I'll say something like, "Alicia Keys, Unplugged. Uhm...Alicia's a genius. Fiona Apple, Extraordinary Machine. Tymps is catchy." Ha! And I call myself a music lover. So why can't I think of anything to say about my favorite artists and their songs?
