This is so weird. These albums are basically a collection of today's pop songs, sung (yelled, really) by kids (or rather, kidz). Yes, kids, not one, not two, but a whole bunch of them. The musical arrangement wasn't even changed much. It's like they played the song straight from the album, and had children singing along to it. Hard to believe that
KidzBop is making money over this. But alas, they are, otherwise they wouldn't be on their 8th volume. Kids actually buy this stuff? Or parents actually buy these for them? o_O
KidzBop includes songs like "Caught Up", "Lonely No More", "Toxic" and "Crazy In Love". Wut. I'd rather let my kids (er...future kids) sing along to
Mary-Kate and Ashley music where they sing about piñata parties, bravery, and ballerinas. How wholesome.
Is it obvious that I'm bored?
//edit: I got curious and clicked on the link for the KidzBop music video of "Since U Been Gone". Laughtrip mehn!
