We have booked Channels Golf Club as our wedding venue. Wedding day is Friday 5th May 2006. Woo! We went to a wedding show on Sunday and it was cack.
I've been corset shopping with my friend Alia for the main body part of the wedding dress she's making for me. Where else can you go but
Fairy Goth Mother in Camden market. This is the one of the

I like that a glass of wine is only 2 points at the moment too! Definitely a good idea to cut back on empty carbs like breads... pasta bulks up a salad or a meal if you use a handful and the same goes for rice :) When I was my thinnest I just didn't have cheese in the house... waning myself of the stuff is a good plan, then it will be far more rewarding when I go for my treat pizza at Pizza Hut at goal time.
I'm also thinking of the home-remedy exercise plan..pilates sounds good, and you're lucky you have facilities onsight - you can wear loose clothing, work up a sweat downstairs with full gym equipment and then sneak back up to your place with a level or privacy not always afforded. My friend on LJ Fran, she lost 60lbs or so by running on a treadmill - I'm dying for one. I know walking outside might just be as effective, but you can work at your own pace whilst watching tv. It's as intense as you want it to be without having to dodge loads of stragglers.
Basically when I was at my thinnest (it seems to be four-year cycles - 1997 (first year), 2001 and fingers crossed, 2005!) I was eating healthily al week and then let things go a bit at the weekend so I never felt deprived. I learned to get by on fish and fresh veggies for dinner all week and then had a chow mein from the local chinese on Fridays.
You can do it - I've seen you put your mind to so many things - this won't take long. How much do you want to lose? I can't wait to see you next May - :)

And saving up points for weekend drinking and/or Ethiopian binges.
I do have access to a treadmill, bike and stairclimber (aka the devil's workout tool) in my building, however, there are only five pieces in the "gym", so sometimes you're just out of luck. Hard to plan around that! Also, I *vastly* prefer the elliptical trainer in that it's not hard on my knees, and I can get a good run/heartrate up without feeling like my body's coming apart. But I guess that's mostly just me being spoiled :-)
I'm also waiting for them to open the pool here at CMCC... then I'm going to really, really try to force myself to have a post-work/pre-commute swim at least two evenings a week. We'll see how that goes, though. I hate chlorine (I would KILL for a swim-in-able lake close to home!), but I love swimming and it would be an ideal form of exercise.
Sunday evening is good for a phone call... or we can work something out sometime next week. Just let me know :-)

Stairmasters are evil! Swimming would be great, I'm sure twice a week is manageable, though chlorine is not nice! My weapon of choice is music I can't not dance on the spot too...can't wait for Darrin's Dance Grooves tonight!
I want to build up good eating habits now so by the time I am pregnant and put on loads of weight i can safely manage the time after and hopefully it will come off. It's only going to get harder and I want to build in an exercise programme and when I have more money to spare, join the gym just up the road and really get fanatic about working my body.
If I don't call you Sunday I'll be in touch about next week.
Seen any flicks lately? Crash just came out here and that was really, really good.
