Teaching myself to do a cut, take two - oh and S8 rewatch
Oh yes, said I was going to rewatch S8 along with all the Asia folks who get to see reruns on tv. Haven't quite caught up to where they are but did watch the top 36 selection show last night so here's my little recap of that.

At any rate, it was interesting. Always with that show, they are trying to set up certain favorites. Everyone knows that. So kind of weird that early favorites like Matt and Megan barely got shown. Also interesting that most know Kris was in a sing-off that he won and they went first, yet he's the next to the last two shown as making it in the episode. Also weird, he's the contestant that they flashed the Ford logo over when he came out to say he made it. (A little subliminal hint there from the producers?)
Funny stuff - my husband who does not get into Idol folks was pretty much LOL at everyone who was shown singing. Except one man. Michael Sarver. He was like, I could see that guy doing country music. And since I do like Sarver, I said, "yup, that's what he's doing and y'know, he was good in the concert last year." Ha, my husband is Sarver, he has seen all the episodes, but was like "oh so he's going to win the singoff." (Of course, those who don't sarver like my husband does know that Matt the bald guy and Sarver both got through. And if those two truly had gone last and done math properly, they would have already seen there were 16 guys already through and known they were both good to go.)
